Aimee Charles is a Melbourne based art therapist, artist, yoga and meditation teacher; specialising in yin.  She is a strong advocate of holistic wellbeing, food as medicine and  DoTerra essential oils for wellbeing. She is passionate about empowering others to live a quality live full of love, joy and optimal health. "Art gives outer form to the internal landscape of emotions, thoughts and physical sensations. Yoga is the union of these landscapes." Through my yoga practice and creative art expression I gained a deeper sense of my true identity; one not reliant on the outer world for definition. This compelled me to learn more and begin to share these amazing practices with the community. I am passionate about empowering others on their own healing journeys to gain personal insights through the power of creative expression and yoga.” Connect with Aimee Instagram

Holly Norman is a Melbourne-based musician, arts manager and yoga teacher. Her love for music has taken her on a journey rich in variety, including performing in symphony orchestras as a classical percussionist, playing drums in dimly lit jazz clubs, collaborating on experimental theatre shows, and singing and songwriting in her pyjamas. Holly’s core belief is that music, and yoga, are for everyone. Her fundamental goal as a workshop facilitator is to break away from the perception that there is a ‘right’ way to engage with music as an art form, and to simply enjoy what the world of sound has to offer. ‘The most valuable gift that my yoga practice has given me is a space of non-judgement. So often we equate creative pursuits (drawing, painting, playing an instrument, singing) with a self-imposed scale of achievement. We measure ourselves against others, and in the process we lose the beauty of the moment.  Yoga teaches us to simply be, to experience the present moment without an attachment to yesterday, today, or tomorrow.  Using yoga asana, pranayama and meditation as tools to connect to what’s inside, we empower ourselves in so many ways – giving ourselves permission to feel, love, and express.” Connect with Holly Instagram

Wendy Praud is a yoga, meditation teacher and Reiki master with over seven years of experience throughout Australia, USA, China and Europe. Wendy is a passionate artist, writer and photographer and offers classes by request in French. “I’ve always believed that our yoga mat is a mirror that reflects our soul. On the four corners of our mats there is nowhere to hide, we are given the opportunity to come face to face with ourselves. How we breathe, move, feel and think in our practice is the way we are in our everyday life. When you enhance your practice, you enhance your life.    From this place of reflection and presence created through yoga we then add the process of creating art. This is the perfect combination to help us evoke and evolve.” Connect with Wendy Instagram

Lucy (Yu) Lawes is a Melbourne-based illustrative artist, and owner of Estuary Yoga Space. Her artistry brings together elements of nature and expressions of beauty, often with an air of surrealism. She has exhibited in New Zealand, Australia and the USA, and continues to explore collaborative and commissioned projects. Lucy is an advocate for mindful living and finding joy in life’s simple moments. “In teaching through the union of art and yoga, it is my utmost wish to bring your awareness to the beautiful, intricate sensations we often miss. These are seeds that nurture our creativity, and colour our experience of true aliveness. Just as art helps us make sense of the world through lines, shapes and space, moving through yoga asana with mindfulness in breath allows us to feel into the nuances of sensation, and appreciate the power of being fully present in body and mind. Each breath has its own shape, texture, emotion; each breath is an invitation to connect to ourselves, and to come back home." Connect with Lucy Instagram
