"Art gives outer form to the internal landscape of emotions, thoughts and physical sensations. Yoga is the union of these landscapes."
I reconnected with my creativity during a time of transformational exploration.
I had resigned from my role as a flight attendant and had just come out of a big relationship. Feeling a loss of identity, these events became a catalyst of great change in my life. It was time to start nurturing myself.
I experienced such joy from exploring colours and different art materials mindfully, my art started to change. The images and symbols that I was creating were expressions of my inner world where I had felt a large disconnect from all the change in my life.
Through my yoga practice and creative art expression I gained a deeper sense of my true identity; one not reliant on the outer world for definition.
This compelled me to learn more and begin to share these amazing practices with the community.
I explored many yoga styles, Vinyasa, Hatha, Bikram to feminine based Tantric practices; finding my passion within Yin. To me Yin is an awareness of self in stillness, it provides an opportunity for deep healing as well as revitalizing the connection with ones true essence - pure love and joy.
I am passionate about empowering others on their own healing journeys to gain personal insights through the power of creative expression and yoga. Art gives outer form to the internal landscape of emotions, thoughts and physical sensations. Yoga is the union of these landscapes.
